Critical Hack!
Critical Hack is a game aiming to improve cybersecurity in your entire organisation. It has a very low barrier to entry as it consists of a facilitated tabletop game session demonstrating the "cybersecurity kill chain". It provides an interactive and
much more engaging session than online slides
or similar course. Given its format it is also applicable to add
extra interest to your events
It is ideal to train
new joiners, non-technical and management staff. The format attracts people of all confidence levels and deliver a serious message within an entertaining and non-threatening environment.
A serious game is a training situation where a scenario is supported by gaming artefacts such as a gaming board, cards, dice... This gaming situation dramatically improves the engagement and collaboration into the subject, however complex.
The Game
The game involves a team meeting to play cards on a board. The team ideally comprises managerial, technical and non technical staff from your organisation. It is facilitated by a consultant who will lead the game session.
The game involves the collection of intelligence and exploitation of what was gathered to compromise a fictive organisation. Your team will collaborate and through facilitation will realise how day-to-day actions may lead to - or prevent - cybersecurity incidents.

Outcomes
The key benefit
is an increased awareness and acceptance of cybersecurity practices
gained through an innovative and enjoyable channel: a board game. It is the opportunity to propose or re-enforce messages and greatly increase your reach, and make your organisation more secure by addressing the "human factor".
